General Information

The physicians of the Vascular Center at UAMS deliver excellent healthcare services in the areas of endovascular and vascular surgery. We use a wide range of approaches in treating patients with all forms of vascular disease. A full range of surgical and diagnostic services are available. These include minimally-invasive techniques and conventional surgical procedures, as well as medical and investigational therapies, and assistance with making lifestyle changes. We accept referrals for consultation/second opinion and ongoing management.




    Minimally-Invasive Techniques

  • Aortic stent graft for abdominal aortic aneurysm
  • Angioplasty and stenting for peripheral artery disease (PAD)
  • Atherectomy for peripheral artery disease Renal artery stent placement for renal (Kidney) artery disease
  • Mesenteric artery angioplasty and stenting for intestinal artery disease
  • Laser and radio frequency (RF) ablation for varicose veins

  • Carotid endarterectomy
